Cassper Shares Emotional Journey Of Spiritual Awakening: “I Cry So Often.” Cassper Nyovest has candidly shared the profound impact of his spiritual awakening, revealing a vulnerable side often unseen by his fans.
Taking to Instagram, Cassper Nyovest, who is currently in Singapore for a church conference, shared with his followers how the Holy Spirit has awakened his vulnerable side. He revealed that he once believed he was living a happy life, but now realizes it was all a facade.
Cassper mentioned that he used to avoid confronting his problems. However, since inviting the Holy Spirit into his life, he has been able to sit down, reflect on his life, and consider his past mistakes. This introspection has made him emotional and vulnerable before God.
“Ever since I was touched by the Holy Spirit, I cry so often, I feel so deeply. You know I lived 33 years as what I considered as a “happy person” cause I had never been depressed or overly sad. Looking back, it’s almost as if I was filtered and Jaded.
“Like I only knew how to do one thing and that was to look past things, sort of avoiding them. I never confronted any intrusive thoughts or worries but always found something lighter to talk about or think about. Now I can sit and feel things I never felt before and be present. Present in my pain, in my sorrow, in my fears and in my worries, in my flaws and in my mistakes, in my insecurities and my weaknesses daily,” wrote Cassper Nyovest.
In the same post, Mufasa acknowledged God’s greatness, stating that he often cries when he thinks about how God saved him from things that could have harmed him.
“Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12 7 To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.” God replied to Paul and said in verse 9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
“It’s not easy but it’s soo comforting to know the name Jesus and the finished work on the cross. There is soo much power in the name of Jesus. When I think of what you saved me from Lord, I often cry and just wonder at your love. Not only are you wonderful but you are full of wonder. Not only are you beautiful but you are full of beauty.“
