Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly set for a mega move to top Premier League side, Arsenal Football Club ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The Spaniard international, who was on loan last season at Bournemouth, could be making a permanent move to the Emirates. According to reports, Arsenal have been informed by Chelsea of Kepa’s buyout clause which is £5 million.
Kepa has spent the last two seasons away at Chelsea having moved on loan to Real Madrid (2023/24) and Bournemouth ( 2024/25). The reports from Chelsea are that the club’s former number-one goalkeeper is seen as surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
He is expected to come into the club as a substitute for David Raya who holds the top spot at Arsenal.

Chelsea bought Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao in 2018 for a world-record fee of £71.6 million ($92.7 million) or 80 million euros, surpassing the previous record held by Liverpool’s signing of Alisson from Roma. This deal was reportedly to replace Thibaut Courtois, who was set to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid.
The proposed move of Arrizabalaga to Arsenal has caused mixed feelings among the supporters of the club as they are not aware of what he will bring to the club following his recent performances in the past.
