West Ham have reportedly reached an agreement to sign the 2024 Champions League finalist in the Summer transfer window.

The club has been actively searching for a striker this transfer window and has also engaged in discussions with Aston Villa’s Colombian forward Jhon Duran.
Julen Lopetegui, the new manager of West Ham, has already made several signings this transfer window and aims to strengthen the squad further by filling strategic positions. Notable signings include Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40 million, goalkeeper Wes Foderingham from Sheffield United, and Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras for £25.5 million.

Niclas Füllkrug scored 15 goals in 46 appearances during his debut season for Borussia Dortmund. He also finished the season as a UEFA Champions League runner-up after transferring from Werder Bremen for £12.6 million last summer. In the Euros 2024 competition, Füllkrug scored two goals, one in a match against Scotland and another against Switzerland, both times coming on as a substitute. His most significant contributions were in the UEFA Champions League, where he scored three goals, helping Dortmund reach the final.
Prior to joining Dortmund in the summer of 2023, the 31-year-old striker had an impressive season with Werder Bremen, becoming the first player from the club since Miroslav Klose in 2005/06 to finish as Bundesliga top scorer, sharing the title with Christopher Nkunku with 16 goals each in the 2022/23 season. This outstanding performance also earned him a spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup squad for Germany.
